6th Programme Framework definitively adopted

Brussels, 03/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Council has definitively adopted the 6th Framework Programme for Research (2002-2006) which provides for an overall budget of EUR 17.5 billion, 16.270 billion for the EC part and 1.230 billion for the Euratom part. It should be noted that the German delegation abstained on the Euratom programme during approval that took place without debate in the context of the Social Council, on Monday in Luxembourg.
