03/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has authorised by expedited procedure the 100% takeover of Svenska Volkswagen AB, the exclusive distributor of German car maker Volkswagen in Sweden, by Volkswagen. It also clears the joint takeover of the Italian charter company NEOS by the German group Preussag and NHT New Holding for Tourism BV. The latter hitherto held exclusive control.
