In second reading, Parliament reintroduces all its amendments to directive on public access to information

Brussels, 03/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption last Thursday of the report by Ritta Korhola (EPP, Finland) on the directive relating to public access to environmental information (text aimed at adjusting Community legislation under the first pillar of the 1998 Aarhus Convention and which repeals Directive 90/313/EEC), the European Parliament reintroduces 47 amendments from the first reading, ignored by the Council.
