17/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - As already reported, the first EU crisis management exercise (CME 02) will be held from 22-28 May 2002. We will return to this in more detail in a later edition. The exercise will take place in Brussels and other capitals and will involve consultation with candidate countries and non-EU European NATO members. A press release points out that it will concentrate on crisis management phases preceding a decision to take action.
