17/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has announced that it has earmarked EUR 68.7 million over the next three years, 2002-2004, to finance activities in sectors identified in the EC-Cambodia Strategy Paper 2000-2003 adopted in 2000, viz: rural development; the social sector (in a country with dramatically low educational and health indicators); developing trade and investment to help integrate Cambodia into the global trade system.
