26/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - European Commissioner for Development, Poul Nielson, during a visit to Nouakchott, signed the EU/Mauritania National Indicative Programme, with Mohamed Ould Nany, which consists of a EUR 191 million envelope for five years for transport infrastructure, reducing the balance of payments deficit and strengthening civil society.
