26/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Uruguayan Minister for Foreign Affairs, Didier Opertti signed a memorandum on consultations between Uruguay and Poland during his visit to Poland. He sharply criticised European Union agricultural subsidies, asserting that they were harmful to developing countries, provoked economic and social destabilisation and in many cases went as far as threatening the foundations of democracy.
