25/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has announced the creation of a "European Strategic Forum for Research Infrastructures". Composed of experts appointed by Member states, this multi-disciplinary platform is responsible for permanently analysing the needs expressed by the scientific community. The forum should facilitate greater co-operation between already available infrastructures as well as the realisation of new projects.
