Brussels, 25/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has authorised the following operations through the accelerated procedure:
The creation of a joint Austrian venture , Thermoteam Alternativebrennstoffsverwertungs, specialised in the combustible fuel market, between Lafarge Perlmoser AG and the waste management company Saubermarcher Dienstleistungs AG;
The creation of a joint venture between Hochtief and Volkswagen, named car.e Facility Management GmbH;
The acquisition by Swiss Life France, subsidiary of Swiss Life (Switzerland) of Fortis France (life insurance and pension plans);
Joint take over of Single Source Oy (software) by Dutch companies ABB New Ventures Bv and the Finnish companies Promotion Capital Ky and Novitra Investment Oy;
The buy out of certain production activities of Alcatel Business Systems (France) by Jabil (USA).
