EU scientists confirm dangers to human health of growth hormone residue in meat

Brussels, 23/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - For the 3rd time, the EU's Scientific Committee on Veterinary Measures relating to Public Health (SCVPH) considered, on the basis of the most recent scientific data available, that the use of growth promoting hormones in livestock presents a potential risk for consumer health.
