Commission must adopt reform proposals for Common Fisheries Policy on Wednesday

Brussels, 22/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission is to adopt proposals drafted by the services under Commissioner Franz Fischler aimed at redirecting various aspects and themes of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). This reform package, which will bear witness to the need to impose major changes in this policy, should comprise a political paper setting out the main lines of the Commission's strategy, accompanied by a 'roadmap' of the different stages before...
