16/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by British Labour member Peter Skinner on implementation of the action plan on investment capital, the Parliament insists on the role of the European Investment Bank (see EUROPE of 6 April, p.16). He calls for a greater place to be granted to venture capital, to private share acquisitions and to the entrepreneurial spirit in programmes of secondary and higher education (amendment by Luxembourg Socialist Robert Goebbels).
