Union welcomes outcome of visit by South korean Special Envoy Lim Dong-Won to Pyongyang

Brussels, 16/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 11 April, the Spanish Presidency published the following declaration on behalf of the EU:

"The EU welcomes the positive outcome of the recent visit to Pyongyang (3-5 April) by the South Korean Presidential envoy, Mr Lim Dong-Won. The agreements that have resulted from this visit are encouraging and should be implemented in order to re-launch the inter-Korean dialogue process.
