20/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - European Commissioner, Chris Patten, indicated to an EP budgetary control committee that the damages inflicted on Palestinian infrastructures financed by the EU, following action by the Israeli army, would cost more than EUR 19 million (previously estimated at EUR 17.3 million).
