GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/court of first instance

20/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - In a ruling on Wednesday, the Court of First Instance considers that the funds available to Deutsche Post for acquiring joint control of DHL do not allow one to presume there is abuse of dominant position on the exclusive postal market. Nonetheless, the Court of First Instance stipulates that such funds must not come from excessive prices or other abusive practices on the exclusive postal market. EUROPE will come back to this.
