In Italy, BANCA DI ROMA and BIPOP CARIRE are to merge to create the HOLDING BANCA DI ROMA worth around EUR 7 billion. It will be held at 67% by BANCA DI ROMA and at 33% by BIPOP CARIRE. See EI of 26 January.
