06/03/2002 (Agence Europe) The Commission has authorised the Aid system implemented in Finland to support airlines after the attacks on 11 September by covering war and terrorist risk in its insurance policy. it had already approved the systems for a dozen other Member States. The first aspect of the system deals with the emergency cases in the immediate aftermath of 11 September up to 31 December.
