06/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - In an interview published on Thursday by the German weekly, Die Zeit, Chancellor Schröder said that the recent public declarations made by the European Commission do not show any sensitivity with regards the "specific German circumstances". He criticised Commissioner Monti for having reproached Germany for not having liberalised its markets sufficiently quickly.
