Commission unveils its ideas for a regulation to improve administration of medicines to children

Brussels, 28/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, Commissioner Erkki Liikanen unveiled the consultation document that precedes the adoption (before the summer) of a draft regulation on medicine for children. As already reported in EUROPE of 16 February, p.15, the regulation aims to encourage clinical trials in order to determine appropriate dosage of all drugs for children.
