Yes to new framework for worker consultation

Strasbourg, 05/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report by Fiorella Ghilardotti (DS), the European Parliament approved the common draft directive on worker information and consultation in the European Community. You may recall that the EP/Council Conciliation Committee reached agreement last December (for details, see EUROPE of 17/18 December 2001, p.13).
