05/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - European employers have welcomed the compromise on the "Lamfalussy method" endorsed by the European Parliament on Tuesday (see article on p.13). UNICE Secretary General, Philippe de Buck, said "We are pleased to see that all institutions have finally taken a pragmatic approach and agreed on a working mechanism designed to deliver results".
