31/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - From Madrid on Friday, the acting President of the EU Council of Ministers, Josep Piqué, deplored comments by the Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, reported in Israel's Maariv newspaper that "In Lebanon (in 1982, Ed) it was agreed that Arafat would not be eliminated; To tell the truth, I'm sorry we didn't eliminate him".
