Enzo Moavero Milanesi is Deputy Secretary General

Brussels, 31/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission appointed Enzo Moavero Milanesi as its Deputy Secretary General, responsible for improving the Commission's working methods and promoting their implementation throughout the Commission. Mr Moavero entered the Commission in 1983 (at the Directorate General on Competition) and then worked in the cabinets of the Vice-President of the Commission, Pandolfi (from 1989 to 1992), and of Commissioner Monti (1995-1999).
