31/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Human Rights has sharply increased its productivity, issuing almost 30% more rulings in 2001 than in 2000. In total, it made no less than 8,989 decisions in 2001 and 889 rulings, 683 of which concluded that the European Human Rights Convention had been violated.
