28/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Women of Europe Prize 2001-2002 was awarded to the Greek actress Irene Papas for her initiatives for a pluralist Europe based on the cultural heritage of the peoples, and notably the cultural network she set up, "International Cultural Network Athens-Rome-Sagunto", as well as the founding of an International Centre for Artists.
