Proceeding concerning import of cellulose acetate filament yarns from Lithuania and United States

Brussels, 28/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - Following a compliant from CIRFS (International Committee of rayon and synthetic fibres) which represents more than 75% of the producers in this sector, the European Commission has opened an anti-dumping proceeding concerning the imports of non-textured artificial filament yarn of cellulose acetate (used in the textile industry, see Official Journal C364 of 20 December) from Lithuania and the US.
