Commission approves 4 Leader+ programmes in Germany

Brussels, 14/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday the European Commission approved four Leader+ rural development programmes for the 2000-2006 period: - The national programme in favour of network creation aimed at ensuring the sharing of know-how, experiences and ideas for projects between the Leader action groups in Germany (EUR 3 million; Community contribution; - EUR 1.5 million); - the Schleswig-Holstein rural development programme (EUR 29.6 million; 12.4); - the rural development programme for Saxe-Anhalt (34.6 million; 23.6); - the rural development programme for North Rhineland Westphalia (13.7 million; 5.7).
