67% of Europeans in favour of a Constitution

Brussels, 14/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - While the Laeken Summit begins, the European Commission has just made public the first elements of the latest Eurobarometer opinion poll carried out in October-November 2001. This edition reveals a significant rise in support and confidence in the EU as well as the support of a large majority (67%) of those questioned for an EU Constitution.
