14/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - In a "Manifesto on the Future of Europe", adopted on the eve of the European Council of Laeken, the "Young Europeans - France" plead in favour of a more political Europe, closer to its citizens. They would like the drafting of a federal Constitution, guarantor of more democratic functioning, respectful of States and see in this a way to bring Europe closer to its citizens through a concise text, comprehensible to all.
