European Court of Human Rights misses opportunity to strengthen protection of individuals against torture

Strasbourg, 11/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - When it ruled in the Al-Adsani affair against the United Kingdom at the end of November, the European Court of Human Rights slimly missed the possibility of providing better international protection for individuals against torture.
