Three URBAN programmes endorsed for Germany

Brussels, 11/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - Commissioner Michel Barnier has announced the approval of three URBAN revitalisation programmes for Germany for 2001/2006:

The EUR 19.8 million programme for Luckenwalde will receive EUR 14.8 million in EU funding, focusing on new economic activity, job creation, rehabilitating urban infrastructure, environmental improvement and fighting social exclusion.

The EUR 18.18 million programme for Bremerhaven (Bremen) will receive EUR 9.9 million in EU...
