Marco Pannella reacts sharply to refusal by "I Democratici" to allow Radicals to join Liberal group

Brussels, 07/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Italian Radical MEP Marco Pannella has reacted sharply to a press release from "I Democratici" (whose Members of the European Parliament form part of the Liberal group) which states that they respect their Radical friends and their history, but a political affinity would be required before they could join the same political group at the European Parliament and they could not see such an affinity in the immediate future.
