07/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Council has adopted the decision on the agreements on the supply raw unrefined cane sugar signed by the European Community and ACPs and India. From 1 July 2001 to 30 June 2006, the agreements cover annual zero-duty minimum price quotas. India's quota is for 10,000 tonnes. The ACP quotas vary according to the EU's import needs, as determined by the Commission.
