EUR 225 million for drinking water supplies in Algeria

Brussels, 14/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Monday the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced it had granted a loan of EUR 225 million for the construction of a drinking water supply line for Algiers and for several towns in the region of Kabylie. The loan goes to the Algerian Development Bank which will make it available to the National Dam Agency (ANB), of the Ministry of Water Resources.
