Assembly takes stance on situation in different ACP countries

Brussels, 09/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - At its plenary session in Brussels last week, the Joint Parliamentary Assembly took a stance on the situation in different regions and countries:

West Africa: by adopting a resolution on the situation in West Africa, the Assembly calls on the European Commission to provide all necessary technical assistance for the rapid setting up of all the institutions of the ECOWAS and the WAEMU.
