Standing Veterinary Committee allows some regions of United Kingdom to restart pork exports in 2002

Brussels, 11/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Standing Veterinary Committee (SVC) has endorsed a European Commission proposal to allow the United Kingdom to export for the first time, under strict conditions, pork from certain areas of the country. The areas concerned are the islands in the north of the UK, most of Scotland and counties in the east and west of the UK.
