Green light for Tyco International's purchase of C.R. Bard

Brussels, 05/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission authorised the full acquisition of US medical device maker C.R. Bard Inc by Bermuda-based Tyco International. The transaction will lead to some overlaps in the medical devices sector in Europe in urology, oncology, dialysis and hernias.
