05/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - Following the fall of Slobodan Milosovic, Commissioner Chris Patten made a statement in which he stresses that the former Serb dictator, held and in the process of being tried by the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia "is now where he should be. He represents the worst of the past in the Balkans. Now the new government in Belgrade, supported by the EU and the international community, is getting on with the task of building a better future"
