Commission grants EUR 5 million extra emergency humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the occupied territories

Brussels, 05/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has decided to grant an extra EUR 5 million in humanitarian aid to the victims of the crisis in the Gaza strip and the West Bank, where 500 Palestinians have been killed and 14,000 injured since the new Intifada started in September 2000.
