FRANCE TELECOM now owns 100% of the shares of UN12, the third largest fixed telephony operator in Spain. The French group has acquired 30.9% of the capital that it did not yet hold in the construction company FERROVIAL and in MULTITEL. Although the amount of the operation has not been officially announced, analysts consider that FRANCE TELECOM has paid over 30 billion pesetas to acquire total control of the Spanish operator.
