Loan in favour of gas distribution in Brazil

Brussels, 24/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) announced on Monday that it was going to grant a loan of EUR 47 million to Companhia de Gas de Sao Paulo (Comgas), a company held by the BG Plc and Shell group, in order to modernise and develop a natural gas distribution network in the Brazilian State of Sao Paulo. The loan, to run for 8 years, is reimbursable in one time after the project comes to an end and may be paid out either at fixed or at variable rates....
