ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agri-foods

The French cooperative UNION SDA is planning to invest in an industrial project aimed at creating the largest European unit for the production of bio-ethanol (bio-fuels based on corn and beetroot) with 2 million hectolitres produced annually, which is almost the equivalent of the whole European production at the present time.
