ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) steel

The Japanese steel group NIPPON STEEL has concluded an agreement with French steel pipe manufacturer VALLOUREC for the production of titanium piping for electricity generating plants in China. Under the terms of the agreement, NIPPON STEEL and the trading company MITSUBISHI CORP will each buy 12.25% of VALINOX ASIA, a VALLOUREC subsidiary, for an undisclosed amount.
