ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) computing

The French software engineering company TRANSICIEL (turnover of EUR 377 million in 2000 with a staff of 7,000 people) and the information technology group UCC (turnover of EUR 38.3 million in 2000 with around 450 employees) have announced their intention to merge through a public tender offering by TRANSICIEL on UCC for EUR 7 per share.
