EIB grants loans of over 36.44 million in favour of Egyptian SMEs.

Brussels, 17/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank has granted a package of loans of over EUR 36.44 million to support projects in Egypt by small and medium sized enterprises in the industry and technology sectors, as well as environmental feasibility studies. The large part, EUR 30 million, was granted to Export Development Bank of Egypt and will serve to finance projects in the export and tourism sectors.
