The Japanese TOSHIBA announced the creation of a joint venture specialised in computing systems and services, in association with the consultant ACCENTURE and the software publisher ORACLE JAPAN. The company will be two thirds held by TOSHIBA and capitalised to the value of 300 million Yen. It targets a customer base of major Japanese car and electronic material manufacturers with the aim of recording a turnover of more than 10 billion Yen by 2003/2004.
