17/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The meeting of the European Commission, initially scheduled for Wednesday 18 April, has been cancelled. The spokesperson explained that several important subjects, like the free movement of workers in the context of enlargement, were dealt with last week (see EUROPE of 12 April, p.6). The other topics have been postponed.
