Subsidy to a education project in Karachi

Brussels, 19/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner for External Relations Chris Patten signed a contract for a subsidy of EUR 9.5 million aimed at the "The Institute for Educational Development" project, implemented in Karachi by the Foundation Aga Khan. This project is part of the efforts by the Commission aiming to contribute towards the development of education in Pakistan, in particular for the communities that have least benefited from the country's economic growth,...
