02/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission approved two rural development plans in Portugal and Italy, financed by the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF). It is a question of support for the Azores (total spending: 149.58 million euro, EU contribution 122.206 million) and the region of Puglia (389.372 million euro, 291.940 million of which from the Community budget).
