Baron asks Fontaine for investigation into fate of request for lifting of Berlusconi's parliamentary immunity

Brussels, 21/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - "Why has the request for the lifting of Silvio Berlusconi's parliamentary immunity disappeared?" asks the President of the Socialist Group in the European Parliament, Enrique Baron regarding the fate of the request made last year by the Spanish Supreme Court relating to the Euro-MP leader of Forza Italia (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.5, for what Pasqualina Napoletano had to say, member of Democratici di sinistra).
